A collaborative workshop with a community FabLab where my research lab shared its expertise with local resident of Sao Paulo to build interactive prototypes for a public park
From the 27-30 April 2016, I ran a workshop for 60 participants at the Museum of Tomorrow (Museu do Amanha), Rio de Janeiro. The workshop titled Constructing Proto-Ecologies (Construindo Proto-Ecologias) was the result of a partnership between the LAA Laboratorio de Atividades do Amanha (Tomorrow Laboratory) with the Arts and New Organisms Center (NANO) School of Fine Arts (EBA) and the Models and Digital Fabrication Laboratory (LAMO3D) from UFRJ: Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
A workshop within the Tanks at Tate Modern exploring a mix of traditional shadow art and puppetry techniques alongside digital projection layers developed in the opensource software Processing. 
In this Game of Life inspired workshop, students built interconnected Arduino creatures that communicated through light—forming a living ecology of sensors and signals. Inspired by cellular automata, the workshop explored emergent behaviour and collective intelligence, revealing how simple rules and luminous interactions can generate complex, lifelike patterns across a networked environment.
